Author Guidelines

We appreciate your interest in submitting your manuscript to the International Journal of Comparative Social Science Studies (IJCSSS), a peer-reviewed journal published by Scholar Club Pvt Ltd, dedicated to high-quality research in comparative social sciences. Authors should carefully review the following guidelines before submission.

General Submission Guidelines

Manuscripts submitted to IJCSSS must be original, unpublished, and not under review by any other journal. If previously submitted elsewhere, a clear explanation must be included in the “Comments to the Editor.”

All submissions must be made electronically via the journal’s submission system:

Manuscripts should be prepared in Microsoft Word (2016 or later). All content, including text, tables, and figures, must be included in a single document. References should include active URLs where applicable.

Authors must register on the journal website prior to submission.


Manuscript Formatting Guidelines

Title and Author Information

  • Title: Bold, UPPERCASE, centered, Times New Roman, 16 pt

  • Author Details: Centered, Times New Roman, 12 pt, including:

    • Full Name

    • Designation

    • Department, Institution, City, Country

    • Email Address

Corresponding Author
Clearly indicate the corresponding author with:

  • Full postal address

  • Email

  • Contact number (with country code)

Abstract

  • Maximum 200 words

  • Italicized, justified, Times New Roman, 12 pt

  • Should concisely cover background, objectives, methodology, key findings, and conclusion

Keywords

  • Provide 3–10 keywords

  • List alphabetically, separated by commas, ending with a full stop

Word Count

  • Manuscripts should be 3,500–6,000 words

  • Longer manuscripts may be returned for revision

Page Setup

  • Paper Size: A4

  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides

  • Line Spacing: 1.5

  • Header/Footer: 0.5 inches

  • Use clear section headings and subheadings


Structure of Manuscript

  1. Title Page

  2. Abstract

  3. Keywords

  4. Introduction

  5. Literature Review (if applicable)

  6. Methodology

  7. Results and Discussion

  8. Conclusion

  9. References

(Abstract and References sections should not be numbered)


Tables and Figures

  • Embed within the manuscript text

  • Tables: Title above, bold, centered

  • Figures: Caption below, centered

  • Use consistent formatting (Times New Roman, 12 pt)

Equations (if applicable)

  • All mathematical content must be clearly formatted and consistent with manuscript style


References

  • Use APA Style (latest edition)

  • List references alphabetically at the end

  • Ensure all in-text citations appear in the reference list

  • Avoid citations in the abstract

  • Personal communications should be cited only in-text

  • Web References: Provide complete URLs and available metadata (author, title, date)


Author Biography

Each author must submit:

  • A short biography (50–100 words)

  • A recent passport-sized photograph

  • Completed and signed Copyright Agreement Form


Funding and Acknowledgments

All financial support, sponsorship, or institutional funding must be clearly disclosed in the manuscript.
