Correction & Retraction Policy

The International Journal of Comparative Social Science Studies (IJCSSS), published by Scholar Club Pvt Ltd, is committed to maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and credibility of the scholarly record. In line with international publishing standards, the journal has established the following procedures for corrections and retractions:

Corrections
If minor errors, typographical mistakes, or factual inaccuracies are identified after publication that do not affect the overall validity of the research, IJCSSS will issue a Correction (Erratum or Corrigendum).

  • Erratum: Issued when the publisher is responsible for the error

  • Corrigendum: Issued when the author is responsible for the error

Corrections are clearly linked to the original article and indexed appropriately to ensure transparency and continuity of the scholarly record.

Retractions
In cases where published content is found to contain significant errors, ethical violations, data fabrication, plagiarism, or other misconduct that invalidates the findings, IJCSSS may retract the article.

  • Retraction notices will clearly state the reason for retraction

  • Retracted articles remain accessible but are clearly marked as retracted

  • Relevant indexing agencies and databases will be notified of the retraction

Author Responsibilities
Authors are expected to promptly inform the journal of any errors or issues discovered post-publication. Timely reporting ensures that corrections or retractions can be issued as necessary.

Transparency and Ethics
All correction and retraction processes follow ethical guidelines and best practices, including those recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The journal ensures that decisions are made fairly, transparently, and in the best interest of the scholarly community.

Post-Publication Updates
IJCSSS maintains a permanent digital record of all corrections and retractions to uphold trust and reliability in its published research.
