Author Guidelines

We appreciate your interest in submitting your manuscript to the Journal of Clinical and Experimental Health Sciences Studies (JCEHSS), a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to high-quality research in clinical, experimental, and translational health sciences. Please carefully review the following guidelines before submission.

General Submission Guidelines

  • Manuscripts submitted to JCEHSS must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere. If previously submitted, provide a clear explanation in the “Comments to the Editor.”
  • Submissions must be made electronically via the journal’s online submission system:

  • Manuscripts should be prepared in Microsoft Word (2016 or later).
  • Include all text, tables, figures, and images in a single document.
  • References should include active URLs when applicable.
  • Authors must register on the journal website prior to submission.

Manuscript Formatting Guidelines

Title and Author Information

  • Title: Bold, UPPERCASE, centered, Times New Roman, 16 pt.
  • Author Details: Centered, Times New Roman, 12 pt, including:
    • Full Name
    • Designation
    • Department, Institution, City, Country
    • Email Address

Corresponding Author

  • Clearly indicate the corresponding author with full postal address, email, and contact number (including country code).

Abstract

  • Maximum 200 words, italicized, justified, Times New Roman, 12 pt.
  • Include background, objectives, methodology, key results, and conclusion.

Keywords

  • Provide 3–10 keywords in alphabetical order, separated by commas, ending with a period.

Word Count

  • Manuscripts should be between 3,500–6,000 words. Longer submissions may be returned for revision.

Page Setup

  • Paper Size: A4
  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides
  • Line Spacing: 1.5
  • Header/Footer: 0.5 inches
  • Use clear section headings and subheadings

  • Title Page
  • Abstract
  • Keywords
  • Introduction
  • Methodology
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • References

(Abstract and References sections should not be numbered.)

Tables and Figures

  • Embed tables and figures within the text.
  • Tables: Titles above the table, bold, centered, Times New Roman, 12 pt.
  • Figures: Captions below the image, centered, Times New Roman, 12 pt.
  • Use consistent formatting throughout the manuscript.

Equations / Formulas

  • All mathematical content must follow the manuscript’s font and formatting style.

References

  • Use APA Style (latest edition).
  • List references alphabetically at the end.
  • Ensure all in-text citations match the reference list.

In-Text Citations

  • Must correspond to the reference list.
  • Do not include citations in the abstract.
  • Personal communications should be cited only within the text.

Web References

  • Provide complete URLs along with available metadata (author, title, date).

Author Biography

  • Each author must submit:
    • A short biography (50–100 words)
    • A recent passport-sized photograph
    • Signed Copyright Agreement Form

Acknowledgment of Funding or Sponsorship

  • Clearly disclose any financial support, sponsorship, or institutional funding received.
