Charges Policy

Pakistan Journal of Translational and Applied Medicine (PJTAM)

Article Processing Charges (APC)

PJTAM does not impose any submission fee, ensuring that the journal remains accessible and inclusive for researchers worldwide. However, to maintain high publishing standards and open access availability, a one-time Article Processing Charge (APC) is applicable only upon acceptance of a manuscript.

This APC supports the following services:

  • Coordination of double-blind peer review

  • Professional formatting and typesetting (PDF, HTML, etc.)

  • Website hosting and secure digital archiving

  • DOI allocation and indexing with international databases

  • Global dissemination and permanent accessibility of published articles

APC Structure Based on Author Affiliation

Authors from Top 100 Universities (QS Rankings) No APC

PKR 30,000 (payable upon acceptance)

Waiver Policy

PJTAM may grant APC waivers to authors who are Premium Members of Scholar Club.
Authors seeking a waiver must contact the editorial office prior to or immediately after acceptance of their manuscript.

Important Note on Withdrawal Policy

While PJTAM encourages scholarly communication and does not maintain a formal blacklist, the submission of manuscripts without genuine intent to publish—such as to obtain peer review feedback or editorial consultation without commitment—may lead to disqualification from future submissions.

Authors are advised to confirm funding availability before submitting manuscripts to avoid unnecessary delays or withdrawal after peer review.
