JBEAI is dedicated to fostering global accessibility of high-quality research in the social sciences. All published articles are freely available online, without any subscription or access charges, in support of knowledge equity and academic freedom.

All content is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0), which permits users to:

  • ✅ Read, download, and share full-text articles
  • ✅ Use content for non-commercial purposes with proper attribution
  • Not alter or remix the content for redistribution

This ensures wide dissemination while preserving the authenticity and integrity of scholarly work.

Open Archiving Policy

To ensure the permanent availability and discoverability of research, JBEAI maintains a robust archiving policy. All articles are securely archived in trusted open-access repositories, including:

  • Institutional repositories
  • Subject-specific archives (e.g., SocArXiv)
  • Long-term digital preservation platforms (e.g., LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, PKP PN)

This guarantees that JBEAI content remains accessible for future scholarship and citation, regardless of technological changes.

Citation of original source (JBEAI website) is required when using archived content.

Self-Archiving and Author Rights

JBEAI supports green open access and encourages authors to self-archive their work:

✅ Permitted Versions for deposit:

  • Preprint (before peer review)
  • Postprint (after peer review, before publication)
  • Final published version (PDF from JBEAI)

No additional permission is required—just include proper citation and a link to the official version on JBEAI.
