Article Processing Charges

Article Processing Charges (APC)

Lead Sci Journal of Management, Innovation and Social Sciences (LSJMISS) is a fully open-access journal. All published articles are freely available immediately upon publication.

There are no charges for manuscript submission.

To support peer review, copyediting, typesetting, online hosting, archiving, and journal management, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is payable only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.

Current APC rates:

  • PKR 30,000 – National submissions
  • USD 200 – International submissions

Authors will receive payment instructions after acceptance.

Editorial decisions are made independently of the authors’ ability to pay.

Discounts and Waivers

LSJMISS is committed to equitable access to publication.

  • Reduced APCs are available for authors affiliated with institutions in Low-income (L) and Lower-middle-income (LM) countries based on internationally recognized economic classifications (e.g., OECD DAC lists).
  • Individual waiver requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis for authors with demonstrated financial constraints.

Waiver policy conditions:

  • Waiver requests must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission.
  • Requests made during peer review or after acceptance may not be considered.
  • Waiver decisions are handled independently of editorial decisions and do not influence the peer review process.
  • Authors are normally notified of waiver decisions within 3 working days.

Financial Sustainability Model

LSJMISS operates through a transparent mixed funding model:

  • Editorial and Administrative Volunteers: Editorial board members and academic contributors serve in an honorary capacity.
  • Publisher Support: Finesse Publishing provides technical infrastructure, online hosting, and dissemination services.
  • Academic Events: Conferences and seminars organized by the journal may contribute to operational support.
  • Donations and Sponsorships: Institutional support may help sustain open-access publishing.

The journal does not allow commercial or financial considerations to influence editorial decisions.
