Abstract

This paper is devoted to the meeting of modern English literature and science and world stories with the help of the close analysis of the main works of the authors James Joyce, Virginia Woolf, Aldous Huxley, H.G. Wells, and E.M. Forster. The comparative textual analytics and discourse analysis application reveals that scientific paradigm like the theory of evolution, psychological understanding and technological rationality is not only being interacted with but also being integrated with the global narrative methods such as cross-cultural ethics, cosmopolitan consciousness and transnational perspectives. The results show that there was a unity between scientific and global discourses and the outcome was a new form of narrative that was epistemologically rigorous and morally reflective. The integrative approach provides us not just with the literary creativity but with the ethical mediation and transnational consciousness that are characteristic of the modern English literature.
