Editorial Process

Editorial Workflow

Lead Sci Journal of Management, Innovation and Social Sciences (LSJMISS)

At LSJMISS, we are dedicated to maintaining a transparent, ethical, and academically rigorous editorial process. Each manuscript undergoes a structured evaluation to ensure alignment with the journal’s mission of promoting impactful research in management, innovation, and social sciences. The following workflow outlines the journey of a manuscript from submission to publication:

1. Manuscript Submission

All manuscripts must be submitted via the official LSJMISS submission portal:
???? https://scholarclub.org/index.php/LeadSci

Submissions must strictly follow the journal’s formatting, ethical, and technical guidelines provided in the Author Instructions.

2. Initial Screening and Plagiarism Check

Upon receipt, the editorial office performs a preliminary screening to confirm:

  • Relevance to the journal’s scope (management, innovation, social sciences)

  • Compliance with ethical standards (e.g., informed consent, ethical clearance)

  • Acceptable plagiarism threshold (≤10%, checked via Turnitin or equivalent)

Manuscripts exceeding the similarity limit may be returned or rejected.

3. Assignment to Section Editor

Manuscripts that pass initial checks are assigned to a Section Editor or Associate Editor with expertise in the relevant domain. The editor assesses:

  • Theoretical contribution and novelty

  • Scholarly quality and relevance

  • Alignment with the journal’s editorial focus

4. Double-Blind Peer Review

Manuscripts that meet editorial expectations proceed to double-blind peer review:

  • Authors and reviewers remain anonymous

  • At least two independent experts review each submission based on:

    • Originality and contribution to the field

    • Research design and methodology

    • Relevance to theory or practice

    • Analytical rigor and coherence

    • Ethical compliance and citation quality

5. Reviewer Recommendations

Reviewers provide detailed feedback and recommend one of the following actions:

Accept without revisions
✏️ Accept with minor revisions
???? Major revisions required
Reject

6. Editorial Decision

The Section Editor, in consultation with the Editor-in-Chief if needed, makes the final editorial decision based on peer review input. The corresponding author receives:

  • A formal decision letter

  • Anonymized reviewer feedback

  • Clear instructions for revisions, if applicable

7. Author Revisions

Authors are expected to:

  • Submit the revised manuscript within the given deadline

  • Include a point-by-point response to reviewer comments

The editorial team may send the revised version:

  • Back to original reviewers for re-evaluation

  • Or proceed with internal assessment

8. Final Acceptance

After satisfactory revisions, the manuscript receives final acceptance. The author is notified, and the article proceeds to the production stage.

9. Copyediting and Proofreading

Accepted manuscripts undergo:

  • Professional copyediting for clarity, structure, and consistency

  • Proof review by the authors for final approval

10. Online Publication

The final version is published in the next scheduled quarterly issue and is made immediately accessible under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 License, ensuring open access without modification rights.

11. Post-Publication Promotion

LSJMISS actively promotes published research through:

  • Academic indexing and repository submission

  • Sharing across scholarly and professional networks

  • Email bulletins, partnerships, and social platforms

???? Authors are encouraged to widely share their work to maximize visibility and citation impact.
